If you clicked on this link because you're surprised that we got a Toggenburg, I assume you are just as surprised as we are. The opportunity to add Boggy to our herd fell into our lap and we couldn't say no. She is an extremely correct doe kid. She is the whole package: naturally level, angular throughout, strong bone with lovely feet and legs, and power to boot. A doeling who we are happy to call a part of the Scarlet Hills herd and a doeling that we are thrilled to watch mature into her fullest potential. She will be a Junior Yearling for 2020.
Boggy ended up freshening with a lovely mammary as a 2 year old this year. She is still just as correct and powerful as before, except now she has a snuggly attached, well-balanced udder to complete the package. Well she freshened for a second time- gifting us another beautiful, single doe kid. With this second freshening, the Togg is even better than before. A little added depth, strength and dairiness. Her will to milk is appreciated, and her snuggly attached mammary is all we could ask for. |
