it finally dawned on me a couple years back that I have a problem with selling my Betty daughters before they get a chance to freshen. When Betty wasn't bred last year I thought I'd have to give up and let her retire. Fortunately, that year off served Betty well and I ended up breeding her late in the season. The result was little Miss Gloria. Littles, as we call her in the barn, is another promising young kid. She is tall, long, and very angular; very similar to her dam. I'm looking forward to seeing what she looks like in another couple of months as she is a late born kid.
