50% Alpine / 50% La Mancha
Betty was my very first "experiment", she is a cross between an Alpine doe and one of my favorite LaMancha bucks. Betty is the reason I like crossbreds so much. To me if I can take the qualities that are more prominent in one breed and pair them with another breed and make a beautiful animal as the outcome, I have done my job. Betty is extremely tall and long. She is level over her top and extremely dairy. Betty is a little on the immature side, but I know some day she will really wow many people. Betty is very correct on her feet and legs with extremely strong pasterns and hoof shape. She is properly bodied for her size and age. In addition, Betty has a very correct mammary that is held high and tight against the body wall, she is also a heavy milker.
